Class Descriptions:

Please note that the modification of poses and the use of props are available and guided by instructors in every class. Class levels are not strict definitions.

Supported: Beginners and experienced students practicing at a gentler pace with the use of props in all postures to enhance stabilization and mobility.

Basics: Classic foundational poses for those new to Iyengar yoga or experienced students returning after an absence or injury, or those looking for a more moderately paced class. Beginners are welcome in this class.

Level 1/2: A mixed level class with beginner and intermediate level students practicing all categories of poses.

Open Level: Beginner, Intermediate, and advanced level students practicing all categories of poses including seated, standing, forward bends, backbends, twists, inversions and restoratives.

Level 2 and 2/3: Intermediate and Advanced level students practicing all poses including backbends and inversions.

Level 2/3 Saturday morning series: This 4-week session will focus on inversions as well as highlight backbends, arm balances and padmasana. We will practice inversions in every class including adho mukha vrksasana (full arm balance) and sirsasana (headstand). Students must regularly practice salamba sarvangasana (shoulder stand), have a basic understanding of Level 1 postures and have familiarity with the props. Students should have a basic understanding of modifications suitable for individual injuries and conditions including proper practice for menstruation.

Pranayama: For students with yoga experience to practice quiet restorative postures learning breath awareness, control, and an inward meditative focus integrating the body, the breath, and the mind.

Prenatal/Postnatal: For students during the childbearing years. Babies are welcome.

Fees:

8-week Spring Session: $160

Individual drop-in class: $25

8-week Pranayama: $120

Pranayama drop-in class: $18

4-week Pelvic Floor Workshop: $160



Pre/Postnatal Packages: $100 for 5, $180 for 10

Policies and procedures:

*If fee amounts prevent you from registering for yoga, please request a reduced fee through the REGISTER form of the class you would like to attend.

  1. Pre-registration is encouraged. Please register online above through REGISTER link. Drop-in classes are available by walking in or registering ahead for a Zoom class.

  2. You may pay online with a credit card or PayPal, or bring cash or bring/mail a check (to the instructor) to the studio at or before the first class.

  3. For online yoga classes you will receive a Zoom link via email from your teacher.

  4. All purchased yoga classes expire at the end of the session. Make-ups for missed classes are available within the current session in another regular weekly class.

  5. Requests for refunds must be made before the end of the second week.

  6. Make-up classes can be done with any teacher within the current session.

  7. Yoga props are provided. You may bring your own mat if you prefer.

  8. Yoga is practiced in bare feet. Please do not wear any perfume or scented products.

  9. Weather-related closings or class changes will be highlighted on the website.
